Andrew Brainard, Founder/CEO TransMedCare
TransMedCare founder Andrew Brainard entered the medical transportation business at the age of 22 as a driver for a local non-emergency medical transportation based out of Central Florida.
Over the next few years, his career expanded to include sales, marketing and business management, as he assisted in the launch and growth of several successful local medical transportation companies, establishing new systems of management and refining efficiencies in operations.
In 2015, seeing an opportunity to offer a better solution on a national scale, at the age of 29, Andrew launched Florida-based TransMedCare Long Distance Medical Transportation. His goal: to create a more efficient medical transportation option with improved comfort care and increased safety in the transport of the elderly and medical patients across the continental United States. Andrew purchases and completely retrofits a medical transport van and serves as one of two drivers for his start-up company, accompanied by a licensed nurse. TranMedCare’s early trips took them up and down the US East Coast.
Today, Andrew oversees a fleet of nine fully customized medical transport vans with a growing demand for services nationwide, recently opening a second location in Las Vegas, Nevada to better serve families and patients across the Western United States. The business remains family owned and operated and dedicated to delivering the highest level of care in the industry.
At the age of 22, while working a nighttime job in Central Florida, TransMedCare founder Andrew Brainard takes a position working with his roommate as a driver for a local non-emergency medical transportation company. Eager to learn every aspect of the business, Andrew pursues additional duties in sales, marketing and payroll, helping the business grow.
Andrew joins his younger brother at a long distance non-emergency medical transport company based out of Central Florida offering nationwide service. Andrew is instrumental in refining the efficiency of operations and improving standards for patient care.
