Job Description: Non-Emergency Transportation Driver

 

Job Purpose

The primary responsibility of the Non-Emergency Transportation Driver is to work as a team with the other driver to provide safe state to state transport with patient and family onboard.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Documentation of daily log for each trip.
  • Completing a PM inspection daily
  • Good sense of direction
  • Able to use a smart phone for driving directions and submitting documentation
  • Keeping the driver bed and driver/passenger seating area neat and clean
  • Assisting medical staff member as needed
  • Checking inventory of supplies and equipment. Reporting any supply shortages or equipment malfunctions immediately to lead driver/office
  • Accommodate needs of family members if accompanied
  • Suggest changes to office task workflow in order to improve efficiency
  • Uphold and carry out company office policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Prefer some cross country road driving experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • 7-year clean driving record
  • Flexible schedule
  • Able to travel and be on the road for multiple days
  • Work as a 1099 independent contractor
  • The chosen applicant must be able to work independently and handle multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail and  ability to work well with others

Compensation and Benefits

  • Compensation is $200 per day
  • Able to pick and choose trips
  • All travel expenses are provided: flights, hotels, meals
  • Ongoing training provided

Job Description: Traveling CNA/MA/RN

 

Job Purpose

The primary responsibility of the Traveling CNA/MA/RN is to provide compassionate patient care throughout the duration of transport.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Documentation of all patient care administered
  • Keeping medic, patient and family areas neat and clean
  • Medical care includes checking vitals regularly; assisting with feeding; changing undergarments and assisting with using various bathroom options; emptying catheters; checking blood sugar levels; monitoring o2 levels; administering prescribed medications
  • Conducting a face-to-face patient evaluation with nurse/caregiver or family member in charge of patient’s care at both pick up and drop off
  • Familiarity with all medical supplies and equipment on board
  • Conducting inventory of medical supplies and equipment and reporting to lead driver/office of supply shortages or equipment malfunctions.
  • Keeping family informed of patient’s condition throughout the trip, and allowing them to communicate with patient.
  • Accommodate needs of family members if accompanied
  • Suggest changes to office task workflow in order to improve efficiency
  • Uphold and carry out company office policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • Prefer experience in patient care giving
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • CPR certified
  • Medical license for MA/CNA/RN
  • Medication Administration Certification
  • Driver’s license
  • Flexible schedule
  • Able to travel and stay on the road for multiple days
  • Work as a 1099 independent contractor.
  • The chosen applicant must be able to work independently and handle multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail and ability to work well with others
