TransMedCare is proud to support the American Alzheimer’s Association and sponsor the 2023 Walk to End Alzheimer’s® in the Greater Orlando Area. The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. In 2022, over 600 walks were hosted with over 48,000 teams and 200,000 participants. Over $90 million dollars was raised to benefit Alzheimer’s research. Caring Hands Village
Caring Hands Village is a non-profit organization providing caregiver training and mentoring for social workers, caregivers and families helping patients dealing with organ transplants, cancer, cystic fibrosis and undergoing palliative care. Since 2013 they have served over 900 families nationwide with a network of 350 mentors. They are focused on helping caregivers through their most difficult times, especially during a healthcare crisis.
